Panels Go Up.
Your Ladder
Stays Put.
Solar work means repeated climbs, equipment to move and a roof that demands your attention. Lock Jaw secures your ladder to the gutter, helping reduce unwanted movement so you can focus on the install.
The Ladder Is Part of Every Solar Install
And You Use It More Than Once.
Getting panels and equipment onto the roof means repeated trips up and down the ladder. Every climb needs to be steady, predictable and ready for the next one.

A busy worksite
Lock the Ladder to the
Gutter Itself
Solar crews don't need another piece of equipment to manage. Lock Jaw secures the ladder directly to the gutter in about five seconds — giving you a stable starting point for repeated roof access without straps or a second person holding the ladder.
You're the One on the Roof.
We've Got the Ladder.
You're carrying the tools. You're moving between the roof and the ground. You're getting the installation done. Lock Jaw simply gives your ladder the support it needs so you can focus on the work.

- Brace it with your body or rely on a spotter
- Keep one hand focused on the ladder
- Reposition and secure it repeatedly
- Secure the ladder directly to the gutter
- Set up independently
- Keep your attention on the installation
- Move through repeated roof access with greater confidence

"Quality safety tool that actually works so well. My mates see it and buy one too."
"Love my ladder grip - it's amazing how it holds the ladder. Very secure. The D-ring on the bottom even helps hold my coating and power-washer hose."
"I'm at that age where I probably won't bounce very well, and being here for my family means more than a hundred bucks. Some of these gutters are very slippery - I've had some close calls. Not anymore."

Solar Installer FAQs
Will it damage my customer's gutters?
No. Lock Jaw uses rubber-padded clamps on all contact points. It grips firmly without scratching, denting or distorting aluminium, steel or copper gutters. Not for use on plastic or vinyl gutters.
What gutter sizes does it fit?
Lock Jaw fits the vast majority of standard gutters - typically 4" to 6" profiles.
Does it work on steep-pitch roofs?
Yes. Lock Jaw was designed specifically for steep-pitch roof work, where lateral ladder movement is most dangerous. The clamping mechanism holds firmly regardless of roof pitch.
Can I move it quickly between placements?
Absolutely. The quick-release design lets you unclamp, reposition and re-secure in under 10 seconds - ideal when you're working around the perimeter repeatedly.
What ladders is it compatible with?
It works with the majority of extension and multi-position ladders solar crews use, including telescopic. Check the rail spec on the product page before you order.
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship quickly from within Australia, so you're protected on the very next job - not weeks from now.
