Steady on every climb. Home every night.
Award-Winning Ladder SafetyFor the Roofers Who Work at Height
When your ladder needs to stay put, Lock Jaw grips the gutter to help reduce unwanted movement — giving you greater stability and confidence while you work.

WHS Compliance
for Roofers
Safe Work Australia guidance recommends that workplace ladders are positioned on a solid, stable surface and secured to prevent slipping or displacement. Lock Jaw is designed to help secure your ladder at the gutter, adding stability while you work at height.
A Ladder That Shifts Is
A Fall Waiting to Happen
An unsecured ladder can slip out from under you and cause a serious fall.
Ladders Kick Out
Slippery gutters can cause ladders to slide
Having someone hold the ladder costs time and money
Lock the Ladder to the
Gutter Itself
A spotter gets tired. A strap works loose. Lock Jaw is different - it clamps straight onto the gutter and turns the one thing that moves, your ladder, into the one thing that can't. Five seconds, no tools, no second person.
You're the One on the Roof.
We've Got the Ladder.
Lock Jaw doesn't climb the roof. You do. It keeps your ladder locked in, so you can focus on the climb.
- The ladder slides on the gutter edge
- Brace it with your body - or tie up a spotter
- One hand for the work, one for the ladder
- Every climb is a gamble
- Clamped to the gutter - can't slide or kick out
- No spotter: one person sets up and climbs
- Both hands free for the actual work
- Steady every time - home safe

Secure in
Three Steps
Position
Place the ladder against the gutter and position Lock Jaw over the gutter, with the bar behind the ladder rail.
Clamp
Open the handle, position the jaws firmly under the gutter lip, then push the handle down until it clicks securely into place.
Secure
Adjust the bar assembly until it sits firmly against the ladder rail. Check that Lock Jaw is fully clamped and the ladder is secure.

"Love my ladder grip - it's amazing how it holds the ladder. Very secure. The D-ring on the bottom even helps hold my coating and power-washer hose."
"I'm at that age where I probably won't bounce very well, and being here for my family means more than a hundred bucks. Some of these gutters are very slippery - I've had some close calls. Not anymore."

Roofer FAQs
Will it damage my customer's gutters?
No. Lock Jaw uses rubber-padded clamps on all contact points. It grips firmly without scratching, denting or distorting aluminium, steel or copper gutters. Not for use on plastic or vinyl gutters.
What gutter sizes does it fit?
Lock Jaw fits the vast majority of standard residential and commercial gutters - typically 4" to 6" profiles.
Does it work on steep-pitch roofs?
Yes. Lock Jaw was designed specifically for steep-pitch roof work, where lateral ladder movement is most dangerous. The clamping mechanism holds firmly regardless of roof pitch.
Can I move it quickly between placements?
Absolutely. The quick-release design lets you unclamp, reposition and re-secure in under 10 seconds - ideal when you're working around the perimeter repeatedly.
What ladders is it compatible with?
It works with the majority of extension and multi-position ladders roofing crews use, including telescopic. Check the rail spec on the product page before you order.
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship quickly from within Australia, so you're protected on the very next job - not weeks from now.
